Visit the Farms
What would a visit to La Chapelle d’Abondance be without its cheese?
Abondance cheese has been made for a very long time as in the 14th century it was already being served at the Pope of Avignon’s dinner table!
Abondance cheese has been protected since 1990 by the A.O.C. French label of quality. It is also European A.O.P. recognised. During your visit discover the fascinating history of this gourmet Abondance cheese.
Visits and tastings are organised by the region’s local farmers every week.
